We discover the valuable stories that connect brands with customers.

In May 2009, we decided to create a new kind of video company, run by filmmakers, driven by cinematic storytelling, a one-stop boutique to serve the ever-growing demand of video in modern commerce. We specialize in generating video content that’s relevant, clear, and interesting. Since opening, it’s also become the home to a community of artists and creators that we work with regularly.

We focus on making the right video for the right audience, take a look at our portfolio of work. Our experience working as advertisers with major brands gives us the unique expertise as filmmakers to think strategically about video content, and incorporate cinematic creativity at the earliest stages of concept creation. Mostly though we just like making awesome videos. If you’d like to learn more about us, you can watch our award-winning original shorts at NEWMYTHIC, or follow us at facebook or vimeo. If you’re interested in contacting us, we’ve made an easy to use form for you.

Automaton Creative was founded by Rene Amador and Jocelyn Hsu. You don’t know us, but chances are you’ve seen a video we’ve made. That’s because in 2002, we created one of the first viral web videos to get millions of views. In the next decade, many people asked us to make videos for them, more than 250 actually, with a reached viewership totaling somewhere high enough for us to be considered viral video gurus.
